Trip Description
We will be working in direct relationships with the people of New Orleans. On the trip we will hear stories from local people about what really happened in New Orleans during Katrina, the BP Oil Spill, and other events. We will be placing an emphasis on being a community of people together and addressing the injustice in New Orleans. Our prayer is that we come back transformed and ready to live out what we learned here in Chicago. This trip is concentrated on building relationships, being intentional, empowering local people, and our own learning.
